Schedule a Visit
The best way to find out if KyCAD is where you belong is to visit our campus in person.
Schedule a tour of our campus buildings – the historic Speed Mansion and the 849 Studio + Gallery – and meet with our community of faculty, students, and staff to see what makes us different.
Individual visits
Take a tour of campus, stroll through historic Old Louisville, and meet with our admissions team to learn more about KyCAD’s BFA in Studio Art degree program and the steps required to submit an application. Upon request, we can schedule a portfolio review in conjunction with your visit.
Group Tours
Group visits include a tour of campus and a presentation about our BFA program. We can customize your visit with a group activity, portfolio review, or student panel. If you are interested in setting up a small group tour of campus, contact the KyCAD Office of Admissions at (502) 453-2383 or admissions@kycad.org.
Open House
Attend our fall Open House for a chance to explore campus and meet with faculty and staff. We encourage all attendees to bring sketchbooks or images of artwork to receive a preliminary portfolio review. While you are here, you can also talk with the Admissions Team about our BFA program and application process.

Art workshops
Attain a new skill or craft by participating in one of our art workshops led by alumni, current students, and/or faculty.
Artist Lectures
Attend one of our artist lectures to learn from practicing visual and performance artists making an impact in the Louisville and global creative community. Lectures are often paired with an exhibition that explores the artist’s current work.
