Joyce Ogden
Joyce Ogden received an MFA from the Henry Radford Hope School of Fine Arts at Indiana University, Bloomington and has been a practicing artist and educator for over 30 years.
Joyce joined KyCAD upon its founding in 2009 (then known as the Kentucky School of Art) and has been our Vice President of Academic Affairs + Rounsavall Dean of Studio Art since 2018.
Joyce's own research is based in the human relationship to the natural environment. She has been the recipient of grants and awards that include the Ox-Bow Summer Artist Residence Program, the Joan Mitchell Foundation Painters and Sculptors Grant Program, the Great Meadows Foundation Professional Development Grant, the Kentucky Foundation for Women Sallie Bingham Award, Artist Enrichment Grants from the Kentucky Foundation for Women and the Al Smith Fellowship from the Kentucky Arts Council.
