Associate Professor + Chair of Studio Art

Andrew Cozzens is a visual artist whose research explores time, subjectivity, and their influence on human experience and aging. His interdisciplinary work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including at SCOPE during Art Basel Miami Beach, the Taipei Biennial, Laumeier Sculpture Park, and venues in Canada, France, and Italy.

A four-time recipient of the Great Meadows Foundation Artist Development Grant, Cozzens has also been an artist-in-residence at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. His scholarship has appeared in the International Journal of Žižek Studies and the Louisville Health Equity Report.

At KyCAD, Cozzens encourages students to work across disciplines while exploring how art shapes our understanding of perception, memory, and time.
