About KyCAD
On April 19, 2018, the KyCAD Board of Directors took an important step toward its mission to be the only four-year, independent college of art and design in Kentucky by voting unanimously to separate from its previous host institution and start down the path of independent licensure and national accreditation. KyCAD is now designing its future and creating exciting new goals to be a college that sees the city of Louisville as its campus. The KyCAD team, working in partnership with key stakeholders, is building on what has already been achieved to now focus on the kind of curriculum that creates an art organization fit for the 21st century.
