Matthias Scott-Jones earned his degree from the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Louisville. His main areas of research include optical tools in material sciences, magnetic material metallurgy and randomized algorithms for crystal simulations.
Outside of his research in the discipline of physics he also pursues research and development on topics within computer science and artificial intelligence, specifically frameworks and pipelines for natural language processing, as well as topics related to econometric time series analysis.
He is currently a Lecturer of Mathematics at KyCAD.
